We need more people like you in Canada – those who are not afraid to voice their
concerns regardless of how popular it will make or unmake them! I know your mom
and look forward to your return to Canada – I’m hoping we can talk more when you
get back about Human Rights in this country and how to effect real change.

By the way, I did meet you once at the U of C last year – you might remember – at
the career fair.

Enjoy the rest of your European stay and if possible – get over to Ireland just
to see the incredible country side.

Now this is how the PETA people should advertise it. I took a look at their website for it, and I can say it is certainly not the approach they should be taking. It’s all about how many celebrities they have endorsing them, and “OMG baby seals are CUTE”. While this may speak to some people, to me it felt extremely patronizing, and it was very off-putting. Even on the letter they encourage you to forward to the Prime Minister, ambassadors and other various ministers it strikes the same tone, and I have a hard time believing that any of the recipients will take it seriously. I did not forward it because I was embarrassed to have my name on that drivel. Your letter is something I can agree with.

Glad the recipe worked. The HP suace just gives it a little zing that is why I put it in. You could try any hot sauce if you like. Soemtimes i use stewed tomatoes, that is good too
